Fr. Patrick Peyton – "The Rosary Priest"

Fr. Patrick Peyton C.S.C., known worldwide as “The Rosary Priest,” was born in 1909 in Attymass, County Mayo, Ireland. From humble beginnings, he became one of the most influential Catholic figures of the 20th century, dedicating his life to promoting family prayer and devotion to the Holy Rosary.

After emigrating to the United States, Peyton joined the Congregation of Holy Cross and was ordained in 1941.
