Knock House Hotel boasts 68 superb bedrooms, flooded with natural light and offering stylish comfortable accommodation. Along the corridors to the bedrooms, the building curves organically around the hill on which stands the Shrine itself. All the bedrooms are tastefully decorated with furniture and fabrics which create a truly “West of Ireland Experience” complimented by views of unspoiled countryside or overlooking the Basilica. All the bedrooms are equipped to modern Three Star standards and include Direct Dial Telephone, Colour T.V. featuring E.W.T.N., Radio, and Tea/Coffee making Facilities.
Every Bedroom is located with a unique print, inspired by the flowers of the “Mary Garden” in the Shrine complex.
One of the unique features of the Hotel, is the 6 Bedrooms which have been especially designed to cater for wheelchair users. The Hotel was recently awarded Category 2 under the VAS scheme for accommodation providers. 5 of the Bedrooms will accommodate Single/Twin or Double occupancy very comfortably. The 6th is the “Medical Assessment Unit” and this caters for guests with particular medical requirements. This superb room has 3 beds (one electric) and overlooks the Basilica.
